Galatea is the premier beer importer in Sweden with a very wide assortment of both well known volume brands and exclusive niche beers.
We import beers from across the globe. Currently we represent breweries from the Czech Republic, Germany, England, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Jamaica, USA, Canada and Denmark but are constantly looking for new exciting brands. Our focus is to offer quality beers to our customers, including an expertise and knowledge that covers both Galatea's beer portfolio plus information about the beer world in general.
To compliment our beer portfolio we also offer an exciting range of wines, spirits and ciders. Galatea owns 50% of the Tegner Hermansson wine house that gives us the opportunity to offer a variety of high quality wines. In our cider range we deliver both the classical English taste of Westons to the more modern varieties of the Hannas series.
Amongst our exclusive spirit brands you will find Courvoisier Cognac, the rums from Bally and St James but also the malt whiskies from Laphroaig, Tomatin, Karuizawa and Arran. Gibson London Dry Gin and Talisman Blended Whisky play also an important role in our portfolio as they are the top selling brands in their respective categories at Systembolaget. Of course here we offer again our expertise and knowledge to all our customers.
Since 2004 we have set up our own logistics company, KGA Logistics. This gives us full control of the efficiency in our warehouse and distribution that maximises our customers satisfaction and minimises our impact on the environment. Our sales team exists of 7 dedicated people backed up by an enthusiastic telephone sales group. The Galatea team exists of 60 people.
